چکیده

The fifth generation (5G) of wireless networks features three core use cases, namely ultra-reliable and low latency communications (URLLC), massive machine type (mMTC), enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB). These cases co-exist in many practical scenarios compete for the same set time frequency resources, resulting a natural trade-off their performance. In this paper, network supporting both URLLC eMBB modes operation is studied. To guarantee ultra requirement URLLC, dynamic resource allocation scheme indicated by two-dimensional bitmap proposed. This approach capable to achieve finer granularity as well lower false cancellation rate compared state-of-the-art methods. A novel power control indication method also proposed dynamically provide different parameters user equipment (UE), while guaranteeing reliability minimizing impact eMBB. addition, we devise selection mechanism (DSM) accommodate diverse scenarios, which empowered with load prediction become more intelligent. Our extensive system-level simulation results eMBB-URLLC co-existence showcase that perceived throughput UEs increased 45.3%, about 13.3% are enjoying services at most 84% transmit savings

Joint Scheduling of URLLC and eMBB Traffic in 5G Wireless Networks

Emerging 5G systems will need to efficiently support both broadband traffic (eMBB) and ultra-low-latency (URLLC) traffic. In these systems, time is divided into slots which are further sub-divided into minislots. From a scheduling perspective, eMBB resource allocations occur at slot boundaries, whereas to reduce latency URLLC traffic is pre-emptively overlapped at the minislot timescale, result...

Dynamic Resource Allocation in Wireless Networks

In this thesis we investigate different algorithms for dynamic resource allocation in wireless networks. We introduce a general framework for modeling systems which is applicable to many scenarios. We also analyze a specific scenario with adaptive beamforming and show how it fits into the proposed framework. We then study two different resource allocation problems: Quality-of-Service (QoS) cons...

Dynamic Resource Allocation in Heterogeneous Wireless Networks

As the wireless technology and standards continue to evolve, wireless communication systems and standards continue to promise to support an even higher number of mobile users, new applications, higher data rates, better coverage and more stringent quality of service (QoS) standards. Users need to be provided with high data rates and reliable service irrespective of their mobility or location. H...

Dynamic resource allocation schemes during hando for mobile multimedia wireless

| User mobility management is one of the important components of mobile multimedia systems. In a cell-based network , a mobile should be able to seamlessly obtain transmission resources after handoo to a new basestation. This is essential for both service continuity and quality of service assurance. In this paper, we present strategies for accommodating continuous service to mobile users throug...

Resource Allocation Schemes in Integrated Heterogeneous Wireless and Mobile Networks

Wireless and mobile networks have experienced a great success in the past few years. However, any single type of wireless and mobile network cannot meet all types of service requirements. For example, no single type of existing wireless and mobile network can provide both wide coverage and high bandwidth services. In order to provide more comprehensive services, an integrated heterogeneous wire...
